How to Delete Linkedin Learning Account?

LinkedIn Learning is part of your overall LinkedIn account, so you can’t delete just your LinkedIn Learning profile separately. If you want to remove your LinkedIn Learning data and access, you’ll need to delete your entire LinkedIn account. If you’re sure you want to proceed, here’s how:

Steps to Delete Your LinkedIn Account (Which Also Deletes LinkedIn Learning Access)

  1. Log In to Your LinkedIn Account:
    • Go to LinkedIn and sign in with your credentials.
  2. Access Account Settings:
    • Click on your profile picture at the top right.
    • Select “Settings & Privacy” from the dropdown menu.
  3. Navigate to Account Management:
    • Under the “Account preferences” tab, scroll down to find “Account management.”
    • Click on “Close account.”
  4. Follow the Prompts:
    • LinkedIn will ask you to select a reason for closing your account.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions, confirm your password, and complete the process.
  5. Confirmation:
    • Once complete, your LinkedIn account—including LinkedIn Learning access, courses, certificates, and other data—will be permanently deleted.

Important Considerations:

  • Data Loss:
Deleting your LinkedIn account will erase all your connections, profile information, and any learning progress or certificates earned on LinkedIn Learning. This action is irreversible.
  • Alternatives:
If you only want to stop using LinkedIn Learning, consider canceling your subscription or hiding your learning activity without deleting your entire LinkedIn account.
  • Backup:
Before deletion, you may want to download a copy of your LinkedIn data. LinkedIn provides an option in your account settings under “Data Privacy” > “Get a copy of your data.”
