How to Use Photodirector to Remove Watermark?
Removing a watermark using PhotoDirector depends on the version you’re using (mobile or desktop). Below are the steps to do it:
Method 1: Using the “Content Aware Removal” Tool (Desktop)
- Open PhotoDirector and load your image.
- Go to Edit Mode.
- Select “Content Aware Removal” from the left panel.
- Use the brush tool to paint over the watermark.
- Click “Apply”, and PhotoDirector will automatically remove and blend the area.
- Save the edited image.
Method 2: Using the “Clone Tool” (Desktop & Mobile)
- Import your image into PhotoDirector.
- Choose the “Clone Tool” from the toolbar.
- Select a clean part of the image that matches the area around the watermark.
- Paint over the watermark with the cloned pixels.
- Adjust the opacity & brush size for a natural look.
- Click Apply and save the image.
Method 3: AI Object Removal (Mobile Version)
- Open PhotoDirector on your phone.
- Select your image and go to the “Removal” tool.
- Brush over the watermark.
- Click “Remove”, and AI will erase the watermark.
- Save the final result.
⚠️ Note:
- This process works best for simple watermarks on non-complex backgrounds.
- If the watermark is large or on a detailed background, manual touch-ups may be needed.
- Removing watermarks from copyrighted images may violate copyright laws, so ensure you have permission before doing so.
